According to the new features of the building, the yard is organized into different type spaces: patio, solarium, formal garden and natural garden.
The “entrance patio” works as a transitional area between the building and the gardens, located on higher level. This area is formalized in a limestone pavement plan and is punctuated by one olive tree that stands as the natural element.
In the first level gardens comes out a large solarium area on wooden deck. It is an open plan, with great sun exposure, characterized by its versatility. Adjacent to this space is located an ‘in-between’ zone, with assumed volume, which ambition is to create a visual barrier between confining spaces and to give dynamism and diversity to the gardens. This effect will be achieved by small hills of grass, artificially shaped on the ground, punctuated by white blossom trees, interspersed with pathways that define different spatial perspectives. Finally, there is a large lawn, punctuated by preexisting trees, assumed as an informal and natural recreational space.
