The building proposed is characterised by a unit  surrounded by a large roof which covers two blocks that operate independently, thereby creating a central space for common use (multi-purpose room).

The blocks separate the nursery from the primary school.

The multi-purpose space has a privileged location, establishing various types of relations with the two buildings and with the exterior.

This space is characterised by its versatility for leisure and educational use, and is the physical support for the various types of characteristic events, not only those from this type of facility, but also those which support extra-curricular municipal activities. Given its spatial characteristics, the use can be widened not only to the various spaces directly connected to both blocks but also to the exterior.

For the exterior area, we propose a peripheral use where, due to its route, the user can find different types of environment: seated areas, children's park, woods for reflection and resting, informal play area (grassed) and an area for gardening and horticulture.
