The proposal consists of changing the Póvoa de Santa Iria Market building into a hall for shows, leisure and cultural activities or other events to be held by the Povoense Drama Group.

We proposed the creation of a building which is valued by an architectonic language which transmits modernity, scale and dignity to the space. The interior of the building will meet the specific technical needs of this type of facility.

In terms of the operation of the building, the public has access to the entrance and the performance hall on the ground floor where there is also a bar, ticket desk, support areas and accesses to the upper floors. On the 1st floor there are bathroom facilities to support the users of this space and also a control room which is aimed at offering the Events Hall technical support, needed for the development of its activity (sound, light design and the projection of images and video). The 2nd floor has a room for rehearsals (which can be divided into two units), two dressing rooms with respective bathroom facilities, access routes to the stage and technical area.
